About

I’m a personal trainer who is passionate about strength training and all the positives it brings to your life. I believe women should feel just as confident in the weights section as men, and my goal is to help you build knowledge, strength, and confidence through simple, effective exercises that get great results.
I work from my well-equipped private gym on the west coast of the island, with plenty of parking and a welcoming, supportive environment.
I am also a qualified Level 4 Cancer Rehabilitation Specialist. I design tailored exercise programmes for clients going through cancer treatment, on hormone therapy, and into survivorship. Evidence shows that exercise not only reduces treatment related fatigue but can also lower recurrence risk. Building muscle and improving bone density are essential for long term health, and I’m here to help you do just that, safely and effectively.

I've really valued my sessions with Lucy. She has a wonderful ability to be both understanding and supportive, while also gently pushing me to improve my performance. Her private home studio is calm and well equipped and Lucy makes every session feel tailored and positive. Her knowledge and experience of working with people in recovery really shows.

I am loving my sessions with Lucy. She is extremely knowledgeable and a great motivator. After having 2 major operations for ovarian cancer I had lost a lot of fitness and really didn’t know what my body could still do. Lucy has got me back on track. My confidence and strength are increasing. It’s great to have Lucy’s guidance and weekly dose of positivity.

I have just posted this on a Lymphoma support group. I cannot thank Lucy enough and look forward to every session.

"After threatening to relapse for the second time, I asked my oncologist "what is the one thing that I can do to help myself." He advised, with no hesitation, weight training. I did nothing for six weeks then saw an advertisement from a personal trainer specialising in cancer patients. I have just returned from my fifth session and it is proving to be an absolute game changer for me. The fatigue has gone, the depression has gone, for the first time in four years, I feel well in myself. The disease is hovering, I can feel it, but, for the first time, I feel as though I have the upper hand. I cannot recommend it strongly enough. x
